The prime functions of the Health and Safety Representative is to identify hazards, be aware of all potential risks and hazards at the workplace and to ensure the continued health and safety of self and colleagues.
This course covers a range of 6 modules: legal knowledge, the difference between occupational health and safety courses and occupational safety, incident prevention, hazard identification, incident investigation and conducting meetings.
In these modules we take a look at various concepts such as occupational hygiene, the measuring tools of safety, acceptable levels exposure as well as business elements and identifying the spectrum of losses.
Occupational Health and Safety Courses Modules;
This course is designed around four modules covering topics like managing the scene of an emergency, the basic human anatomy and physiology as well as the primary and secondary survey.

General Health and Safety
General Health and Safety is a course designed to ultimately enable the learner to explain basic health and safety principles in and around the workplace.
The course is in accordance with UNIT STANDARD: 259639.
A span of 7 modules will cover topics such as legal knowledge, legislation, personal health and safety equipment, reporting of incidents, notices and signs (as well as colour coding) and emergency procedures.
